The Latest From Abby
A busy lunch service was interrupted when an intense storm caused a roof collapse at Capital Ale House in downtown Fredericksburg in the summer of 2015, allowing more than 2,000 gallons of water into the establishment. Abby Construction was soon hired thereafter to review the damage and develop a timely repair plan to get the business back up and running.
Once the water and storm debris were cleaned up and removed, Abby Construction was able to assess what exactly needed to be replaced and repaired. This included new floors, walls and refurbished support beams with a rustic farmhouse finish. In addition, the building’s electrical system had to be completely replaced and reworked to meet the new design aesthetic.
